Our plain bowls are made in our Kathmandu workshop with the traditional seven-metal alloy and tested by hand before shipping. Because there is no decorative work, they are also the most affordable way to own a genuine hand-hammered Nepali bowl. That makes them the usual first bowl for beginners, and the usual bulk order for yoga studios that need a matching set for classes.
Choosing your size
Small bowls (4 to 6 inches) are bright, light, and easy to carry to class. Medium bowls (7 to 8 inches) balance depth and portability, the best all-round choice. Large bowls (9 to 12 inches) give the deep, long tones used in sound baths. Every product page lists size, weight, and note, and you can ask us for a tone video of the exact bowl before it ships.
